Our Farm experience includes

- a basic safety tutorial.

- Meet the cows, Pygmy Goats, Sheep, Hens and Guinea Fowl, ask questions and learn all about their behaviours and personalities.

- You will then be able to hand feed all the farm animals as well as brush/stroke them.

- Feed them all their daily food and care for their needs.

For larger families, please get in touch to discuss options and how we can make the experience work for you.

Cow Cuddle Experience

This is NOT a group activity. You will be the only people on our farm if you choose the exclusive cuddle experience or with just two other people if you choose the experience for two.  Head over to the shop when you've decided. Over 16+ years only.

Fancy brushing, stroking and cuddling a cow?

Not only is this great fun but stroking a Cow is believed to promote positivity and reduce stress by boosting oxytocin in humans, the hormone released in social bonding. Thanks to a cow's soft thick fur, it's believed this hormone increases when we hug them.

Our Farm encounter experience includes

- a basic safety tutorial.

- Meet the cows, ask questions and learn all about cows and the herd structure.

- pet/hug and brush the cows until your arm aches!

- You will then be able to hand feed the cows before you then meet the Pygmy Goats, Sheep, Hens and Guinea Fowl.

For larger families, please get in touch to discuss options and how we can make the experience work for you.

Put on your old clothes and wellies and enjoy real hands-on goatie antics! Our inquisitive goats love to climb all over you for food, hop, skip and jump around their paddock and generally create total mayhem!

You will then have the opportunity to meet all the other animals here on the farm. Cows, Sheep, Chickens and Guinea Fowl.

Sheep Needle Felting With A Difference! £35

11th July 12.30pm -4.30pm

23rd August 2pm - 6pm

We start the afternoon meeting and feeding the animals on the farm, before discovering the magic of needle felting with Pauline of Tangled Fibres.

You will spend time with our sheep stroking and touching their fleeces and learning a little about how and why they are sheared. You will then be able to create a stunning picture and watch as it comes to life, using wool sheared from the sheep on this farm. You really will be taking a bit of the farm home with you!

This activity is suitable from the age of 12 but all children must be supervised by an adult.

After your activity, you also get to take home the kit supplied free of charge so you can continue creating new designs!

Tea and Coffee provided throughout the afternoon.

Cancellations/refunds. Life gets in the way sometimes. If you can't make it for whatever reason, we are happy to transfer you to any future event up to 7 days prior to the event. This gives us time to re-sell your ticket. If none of the future events are suitable we will refund your ticket.

A fantastic day of wood carving 19th July. No experience required. £65

Become an expert wood carver for the day!

We're sure you will enjoy the experience in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere here on the farm!

Everything you need to create your own masterpiece is provided, tools, materials and an expert carver Allen Stichler at your disposal.

You will be creating a “relief” carving - in other words, your chosen design will appear to stand off from the flat wood - not a 3D sculpture. There will be a choice of 6 designs and you’ll be carving one of these onto a piece of timber approximately the size of an A4 piece of paper.

At the end of the session, you will then have the opportunity to meet and feed our animals.

Head over to the shop to secure your place.

Cancellations/refunds. If you can't make it for whatever reason, we are happy to transfer you to any future event up to 14 days prior to the event. Please note, booking fees are non-refundable. Registrants who choose not to attend the event, and who do not transfer their event ticket by the stated deadline, will not be eligible for a refund or other compensation.
